Sterling Needs Your Help!

One of New York’s flagship festivals, the Sterling Renaissance Festival, needs to raise $300,000 by July 4th — or this popular, much-respected summer tradition might not open this year! Please help us save one of the country’s best-known and most entertaining festivals, and keep the Renaissance festival community thriving.

Founded in 1977, the Sterling Renaissance Festival is an original. It is largely considered to have the finest entertainment program of its kind anywhere, with a commitment to authenticity that is unmatched. The summer-long family-friendly event captivates people of all ages with its music, world-class variety shows, signature professional interactive theater program, and fine hand-made juried crafts. The entire festival is portrayed as an Elizabethan village, where a cast of professional actors employs considerable skills in comic improvisation and interactive theatre to weave a tapestry of captivating encounters with visitors and other characters. It is transformative, high-touch theatre at its best.

We are asking all our faithful followers, past and present, to make a one-time tax deductable donation of $100 to the Sterling, NY Performing Arts Center, and as a thank you for your support, each $100 donation will receive two free tickets to the festival.
